Tomorrow by AN_NA has that elegant combination of robotic beats, a classic synth sound palette and melancholy, spoken vocals. The whole production is wonderfully bleak (apparently the song is about the scenario of getting ready to die in an apocalypse, whilst holding the hand of a loved one), but the electronics glide, the voice captivates and it holds a decent enough tune. The type of recording that I could listen to forever.....or until the day after tomorrow, at least.
Based in Canada, AN_NA is an act which consists of two individuals – Anne and Alain, a couple. They are a considerably old act in the world of music, with years of experience and surviving in such a cut-throat industry for this long has not been easy, but AN_NA managed to cross the decades by staying true to their art and adapting a unique and creative style. They are still happy to be here and glad to be making music they’re passionate about.
