Still in dark territory, this is Canada's Antigen Shift with a highly enjoyable piece of crunching electro called Lest You Be Witches (Bad, Bad Witch Mix). Much to my approval, it has bone-rattling percussion, spellbinding vocal samples and delightful gothic overtones. Dark and a little saucy, this track plunges into the "often erotic world" of the witch. It works to great effect and who cannot resist being seduced by a bad, bad witch? This is the realm of Antigen Shift, a veteran post-industrial, noise synth DJ collaboration of Nicholas Theriault and Jairus Khan. Magic stuff!
