Code 150 are Stella (Guitar & Vocals), Bruce (Bass), Delphine (Synths) and Julien (Drums). They formed in the South of France in 2021, inspired to create darkwave and alternative music. Dancer In The Dark is one of four tracks from their debut EP and it is an excellent introduction to the band. There is a definite post-punk, electronic feel to the track, with a striking vocal which reminded me of Grace Jones. All the band's songs are composed collectively during improvisation sessions, they then later rework those experiments into final recordings. The band have recently released a video for the track and it is well worth checking out. Their debut EP is available from Bandcamp.
