Wax Jaw - The Mirror

Wax Jaw are trans-fronted, five-piece band from Philadelphia (USA), their sound is a mix of New Wave, Post-Punk and Surf Rock. The Mirror is their second single and is a fine reflection of all that makes their appeal so immediate. With gritty bass, sparkling guitars and driving drums, the instrumentation packs a pleasing punch. On top of that you get Shane Morgan's shining vocal, which is both playful and polished. As second singles go, this is pretty faultless.

Look out for their forthcoming EP, due to arrive in September.
