Dreaming of Islands are a band from Malmo, Sweden. Silencio is a track they released five years ago, originally they had intended to write a Christmas song, but something went wrong and the recording turned into this expansive piece which gradually morphs from a sparse vocal landscape into a descending skyline of glistening noise. A harsh beauty. I would argue that something went right.
