I have always been a sucker for Japanese bands, the joy of hearing Yellow Magic Orchestra was probably the beginning, but there have been plenty of other great bands along the way. That might explain why I was especially delighted to hear Ku'damm's new track Xian Cai. The song is simply arranged, but succeeds as a succinctly produced electro-pop recording with a clear, catchy vocal hook and perfectly toned synth instrumentation.
Ku’damm are Reye (Programming) and Minami (Vocals), an electronic pop unit based in Kobe City, Japan. Xian Cai is their debut single and is released via the Tecchu Co., Ltd label. I really look forward to further recordings from the duo.
