Pin back your lug-holes and hide your pots and pans, the metal-bashers are back in town. With their new track, Agitated, collaborative live project,UF, have revived some of the flavour of that original post-punk, industrial noise; the stuff that was coming out before everything mutated into the genre we now reference as "industrial". This time there's some techno with the Teutonic experimentation, but it is still based around percussive rhythms with plenty of clattering and clanging. Just a pity there are no drills or harrowing vocals. Still enjoyable, though.
UF are OAKE, German (had to be!) experimental techno act along with Samuel Kerridge, a British producer and live performer known for his distinctive post-punk approach to techno. Check them out!
