Blog favourite, 4ra 4ra, has lost some of the fluff on this latest release entitled 4vatar. It is still as madcap as a hatful of frogs, but the production is a touch more aggressive and crunchy. Alongside all the trademark twists and turns, there's some bone-like percussion and seriously heavy distortion and fuzz.
The track is a "story about finding oneself and connecting consciousness via digital space. A song about 'Avatar' identity - virtual identity. Some of us are much more real in the virtual world than in reality, while some of us are fake. Avatar is a word paradoxically taken from Hinduism, meaning the incarnation. Are who we truly are, avatar?"
