To be honest, any track with the title Mad Scientist is likely to be a formula for success in my laboratory. Germany's Formad Able have created a bit of a monster with this tune, which I believe is their debut single. I much prefer to hear acts singing in their native tongue and thankfully the slightly bonkers vocals are all in German. On the downside, that means I have no idea what's being said. On the upside, I have no idea what's being said! I reckon it is all about sinister experiments involving mutated body parts - yuk! The real brilliance of this recording is the high tempo, which acts like a racing heartbeat, whilst all the electro sounds come and go with probing regularity as a sort of horror squeal and melodic thrill. The tune is very hooky and the video is cool, too. Take a look!
