UK label, Analogue Trash, have done it again with a superb new industrial release by The Royal Ritual called Modes of Violence. As you can imagine from the title, the track is quite an aggressive piece. Not overtly fierce, but the crunching percussion is there from the very beginning and then soon after there are some rather intense electro and rock elements robustly supporting David Lawrie's half-snarling, half-sermonizing vocals. Dark and compelling, Modes of Violence is a hard-hitting recording which retains a sense of discipline.
The single is taken from the forthcoming album Pleasure Hides Your Needs.
