Out on the 10th May is ada ardor's new EP, Secret Sunday Service, five songs which "explore themes of growing up, girls' complexes, Bergmanesque nooks and corners of romantic relationships, and musings on where the world is coming to at the minute". The singles have already gained attention from BBC, KEXP, Amazing Radio UK, as well as from Rolling Stone. That's a positive sign, as ada ardor seems to have been on quite a journey with regards to her music, hopefully she has finally found the sound that will push her career onwards to a wider audience. The track I am highlighting from the EP is Sun On My Floor, a chic electro-pop song which bounces along pleasingly with a warm lustre and gentle hookline. The quirky ending adds an extra touch of interest, hinting at a more experimental side to the overall pop approach. Give a whirl!
