This is more like it! It is always a pleasure to highlight a track with a sense of adventure and Giungla's new single Limited Edition has an abundance of it. Giungla (which means “jungle” in Italian), aka Emanuela Drei, is an Italian-born musician and producer. Her sound incorporates an array instruments, including samplers, guitars, keyboards and drum machines. Sometimes that candy-shop of opportunity can be a recipe for disaster, but as shown with Limited Edition, Giungla manages to keep the arrangement experimental but disciplined. The approach makes for a inventive sounding tune with a fresh vibrancy.
'Limited Edition' is taken from a forthcoming album, about which she says "the whole record is deeply connected to the idea of reclaiming the imperfect and the temporary. It is about the never ending journey of trying to embrace your imperfections (and also all kinds of imperfections in life, in relationships, in what you do etc), but without taking yourself too seriously.”
