Liminal Shade - Creation

Creation is Liminal Shade's first single with new band member Benjamin Thompson (aka Hex Wolves), a veteran of the dark music scene. The arrangement has quite a free-flowing, almost extended dub feel to it, with dramatic pauses and atmospheric rumblings in the background. The band say the track "invites the listener on a spiritual healing and wholeness journey, with Mar’s ethereal voice pleading, 'Make me whole again / Sing for me.' The track's water imagery and themes of clinging to life evoke a sense of rebirth and transformation". Creation makes for an interesting listening experience, stark and abstract but still engaging.
