LNUA - for evig

For the first couple of minutes LNUA's second single for evig ambles around as an abstract experimental synth piece with an indistinct Norwegian vocal sample repeating a mantra which translates as “I thought it would last forever”. I am not sure if that is some sort of dry humour about the slightly challenging listening experience, but it would be highly amusing if that was the idea. The reward for all that patience comes in the second half of the track, suddenly all the wheels start turning and the lights come up as the track bursts into life. LNUA says that recording is about "the fine line between hopelessness and ecstacy". That change from introspection to exultation within the track is quite remarkable, I cannot think of another track like it. A neat tune which I can imagine going down well at a festival.
