For starters, the great artwork caught my eye - unlike books, you can always judge a record by the cover. Well, almost. Thankfully, my mantra holds true with Magic Mountain's new tune Serotonin - a track with a gently brooding feel, not full-on goth, but there's enough darkness, rumbling bass and percussive flourishes there to please me. The opening line "Living in the ashes of a world you used to know" is a fine one and says it all really. Magic Mountain are from Nottingham and members James Percy, Ash Smart & Sarah Smart have produced a great track with a wide appeal. Give it a listen!
