With Liar's Den, the latest single by Trees and Timber, I got a sense of old school Brit Pop, back when it was fun and cheeky. That feel probably comes from the use of wonky keyboard and the glam-rock stomping bass and drums. Even the vocal has that slightly book-ish feel to the delivery, working the zones to make the song very catchy and instant. With Liar's Den, the band are "inviting fans old and new to join them on a journey of self-discovery and liberation". I suggest you jump on the log and enjoy the ride.
