RebelAngel's Irgendwann woanders is a couple of years old now, but it is new to me and I rather enjoyed hearing the combination of machine-like electronic rhythm, intense German vocals and spidery guitars. RebelAngel says "The lyrics are about the constraints in life that take away your breath. The helplessness of not really being able to do anything about it. About people who make life and breathing difficult. And about being free at some point. To shape one's own life freely without oppression." RebelAngel enjoys making crazy and experimental music without any fixed genre and this recording is likely to please anyone who enjoys a gothic shadow cast across their post-punk electro. Though simply constructed, it has a compelling soul.
