ARMOURS - Body (Leæther Strip Remix)

Against all odds, another remix has arrived which I really like. Stockholm trio ARMOURS have given their track ‘Body’ a rather impressive makeover, enlisting Danish heavyweight Leæther Strip for the job. 

The original track, ‘Body’ deals with the experience witnessing a fading parent and the inevitable shift between generations - along with other emotions such as grief and sorrow. Not exactly your standard synthpop subject matter, but suitably dark and thoughtful.

The reworking gives the song a substantial overhaul, pushing the EBM elements harder while bringing ARMOURS’ synthpop sensibilities further to the fore. The result is a rather satisfying meeting of two electronic worlds. A great collaboration.
