Germany's Brexain has provided a track for something we would all like to do sometimes, 'Escape From Real World'. In this case, you just get about 4 minutes of escape, but within that time Brexain takes the listener on quite a journey: starting with synthetic guitar, choral layers - then transitioning through a wealth of sounds and instruments, including a great brassy breakdown in the middle.
As instrumentals go, I really enjoyed the recording as the elements are never obvious, the sounds are all interwoven and mangled together, making for a interesting sonic landscape. Worth it just for that brass section alone.
