On a more political note, Tim Godwin and Kira Teagan have collaborated on a new single 'Just Drop It'. The song is an anti-Trump diatribe, surprisingly not originating from the US, but thrown from the Australian outback. The lyrics are sharp and observant, mixing contempt with a real feeling of fear about the US President's actions. Like most of us, this leads to the desire to run away from all the madness.
'Just Drop It' is a rock track with a breathless tempo, and succeeds because there's a sparky vocal and solid tune behind all the messaging. As a debut collaboration, this joining of forces works extremely well and shows a lot of potential for the future. That is, if we're all still around!
